- i'm livin it up in lima, peru. pretty much i hang out with kids that don't have very much opportunity in life, but they are beautiful, talented, precious friends. Usually i think i learn more from them than they learn from me. sometimes i wake up in the morning and am in awe that i have the privilege to live here and spend time with Jesus and my friends down on grau or iquitos or in plaza manco capac. some people think i'm wasting my privilege being here, but i think being here is the most significant privilege of my life. these postings are random peeks into my life here. may they bring joy or challenge or hope from my life to yours.

I thought it was kind of funny that I received the magazine issue the day after I quit wmf. My new job is going great though!
